It’s very important to have a to-do list of things that you can do when you have time. This helps you get the most motivation. With this list, you don’t need to always search what to do next, and being written it’s like you are engaged to do it.

This year, I really want to start sharing technical content on what I like and doing great projects alongside it.

[ ] Continuing my IoT management platform

Last year I started the development of an IoT platforme to control and manage all connected devices at my home. It’s like a home-assistant but a lot smaller. The main goal is to keep developing in .NET and discovering new things. This project is drived by technical pleasure, I really hope I finish it one day !
For this project, I use a CQRS architecture, some code generation (a little bit but enough to discover) and emqx as MQTT broker

[ ] Create more connected devices for me

Always with the goal to reinvent the wheel, create some monitoring device for my home. The first one would be a electric consommation meter connected to the Linky box

[ ] Going a little more deep into FPGA and Verilog

This will not be easy, but it’s been 1 or 2 years that I got a Tang Nano and I really want to do something of it. I hope to get enough understanting to create an minimaliste core design that can do vector and matrice calculus. If I succeed in it the final goal would be to offload neuronal network calcul on it in order to keep a minimal MCU as controller.

[ ] Try to get a cool demo using the vector extension of the Milk-V Duo

Likewise, to accelerate neuronal network try to get working the Milk-V Duo with it’s vector extension for TinyML task.

[ ] Write content about Matter for developers

There is nothing on the internet about developping Matter device. Well there is some commercial bullshit and some basic content from constructeur, but there is not independante people speaking about it. At my work I developt a Matter gateway, and I need to go deep in the protocol and it’s implementation. I really want to share discovery I have.

[ ] Create a course about embeded cyber-security

It is by doing learning that we learn the most, so in order to go a little more deep in the security of embeded devices I want to create a small course about this. The primary goal would be to be able to give it to the 2600 school students.

I will keep this page updated with new project ideas or by adding a link to the corresponding post.

I hope you found some good ideas in this list !
